Description

Our Client, one of the largest independent distributors of industrial supplies in the Midwest, headquartered in St. Louis, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, acquiring new accounts, support and expand business in existing accounts, and building relationships with clients while providing world-class customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an industrial background who is a forward and independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Present product information to clients and address any questions or concerns
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Strategically plan and structure each week to optimize your time with clients
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and needs in order to anticipate clients' priorities and make recommendations

Requirements:

  • Industrial background strongly preferred
  • Experience in sales 
  • Excellent negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify opportunities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients through exceptional account management
  • Self-motivated with a drive for success in a competitive sales environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

We offer competitive compensation packages, including base salary plus commission (uncapped)
